A lady used her gentle ways to persuade a man to hand over his poorly treated puppies and their mother.

Rescue Call

The dog rescue group Frankie, Lola and Friends got a call about some dogs in Los Angeles, California getting poor treatment from home. The mother dog was tied up with a heavy chain and was too thin. Her little puppies were also in a bad state, living in a dirty place right next to her.

When Lisa went to the man’s place to check on the dogs, she was happy to see he let her in without any trouble. But what she saw was upsetting. The dogs, especially the mother, were in bad shape. Even though she hadn’t been cared for, the mother dog was still friendly and wagged her tail at Lisa.

All Dogs Needs Care and Love

The owner of the dogs slowly brought the puppies to Lisa. It was clear he knew he couldn’t look after so many dogs by himself. But after all the puppies were in Lisa’s van, he said the mother dog couldn’t go with her. He pointed at the skinny, chained dog and said, “She’s staying here.”

Lisa didn’t want to leave any dogs behind. She made sure the puppies were safe in her van and then talked to the man about the mother dog. Then, she praised him for giving up the puppies and gently suggested ways to make the mother dog’s life better. Also, she told him she wanted to get the dog healthy, give her shots, and find her a warm bed to sleep in.

Mother Dog Joins Pups

Lisa’s caring words moved the man and he decided to let the mother dog go. He said, “Open the car,” unchained her, and let Lisa take her away.

The man had good intentions but sometimes having a lot going on can be overwhelming. Sometimes, even caring people can have too much to handle and not know when to ask for help. Lisa showed that a bit of kindness can make a big difference.

Where there’s Love and Care, There’s Happiness

With Lisa’s kind heart and the owner’s willingness, all the dogs got the care they needed. The puppies got their shots and found loving homes.

The mother dog went to a foster home to get healthy. She gained weight quickly and showed her playful, loving nature.
